Scottish Terriers

References
Once you own one of our scottish terriers you are part of our 'Scottie Family.' We often receive pictures and updates from owners and some of us keep in touch through e-mail. We even have scottish terrier therapy dogs that have come from our litters. These dogs visit hospitals, retirement homes, etc. spreading love to all. As you can see, we are a scottish terrier breeder that really cares about the whole family.

Hi everybody! First of all, scottish terriers are the best dogs ever! Full of character and unique personalities, so you’re already looking in the right direction :o) I bought my puppy, Paddy Mak, out of state from Kristy and the whole process was simple and professionally handled. One of the main reasons I chose Kristy as a breeder is that her puppies are raised around her family. Raised around children and other dogs. I think that this is one of the main factors that made my Paddy Mak such a wonderful friend. He loves everybody he meets and he gets on great with other dogs. He has the perfect temperament! :o) I’d recommend Kristy and her mom, Karry, to anybody that is thinking of getting a scottie. Paddy Mak is one of the most special friends I’ve ever had! Thank you Kristy! –Shane

Hi Karry and Kristy and all the family! Here's some pictures of Paddy Mak and also one or two of me and my wife and my niece back in Ireland. Paddy Mak is such a good dog! He's EXACTLY what I was looking for. A little puppy that will play with me when it's time to play and give lots of hugs and kisses too :o) We have such a good time playing with his toys that we wear each other out and then we're both happy just relaxing with each other. We've been together since we left Hanford and we're falling more and more in love with each other. My wife Dina says that he's the best dog ever, "PERFECT". I'm so happy to have little Paddy in my life and I'm so greatful that you kept him safe and happy for me while I was in Ireland :o) I'll send lots of pictures all the time. Thanks again for EVERYTHING :o) Talk to you soon, Shane (and Paddy Mak)

To Whom it May Concern:
I am writing a letter of reference for Scottish Terrier breeder, Kristy from Orem,Utah. I took possession of one of her AKC registered Scotties December 22, 2007. Working in conjunction with a breeder in California, Kristy coordinated travel for the dog to California and transfer of ownership, making both easy transactions for me. Prior to delivery of the puppy, Kristy gave me weekly updates of his birth, growth, personality and photographs via e-mail. This was very important to me; not only as the puppy’s owner, but that I will be training him to be a service dog. Kristy worked with me in selecting the puppy in the litter, who demonstrated the best of the Scottish Terrier breed, but who would also have the mellow personality for visiting in-bound seniors. Kristy’s professionalism was remarkable and I took delivery of the most beautiful, healthy puppy. His papers were in order, and all his veterinary visits, shots and mediations on schedule. Even as we are beginning Puppy Kindergarten, I still rely on her for her expert advice. She is easily accessible and enjoys hearing our stories and seeing photos of Angus MacMillian and how he is growing and progressing with his new family. I would recommend Kristy as a breeder in the future. Sincerely yours, Terry

Hi Kristy,

Dottie is doing great! She is almost 6 months old and is fully housebroken. She enjoys her 40 minute daily walk. She has so much spring in her step! She is very social with everyone and enjoys going to our local dog park. She just got spayed 2 weeks ago and has recovered just fine. So far she weighs 14.6 lbs. Everyone that sees her comments on her extremely shiny coat. I think it's your crock pot chicken. She still gets chicken every other day, she loves it in her kibble. The vet says she is very healthy and is a great looking Scottie. She has a fun loving personality with a bit of a stubborn streak. She is just perfect for us! Here is a cute picture of Dottie with my friend’s son. He is very scared of dogs but managed to take this cute picture with her. Dottie is 5 months old in this picture. Dottie is doing great and she is such a great addition to our family. Thanks for picking out such a sweet little girl for us. We couldn't imagine life without her.

I highly recommend Karry Raber and her Scotties! My puppy, Jasper, who is now 5 months old, is the most wonderful dog imaginable. He’s so sweet, affectionate, and cuddly, and he’s incredibly smart. He’s the third Scottie I’ve owned, and I can really see the difference the good breeding and early training by Karry have made in this dog. Plus all the love she and her grandchildren poured into this puppy has made him the most loving and good-natured companion. I’ve had a number of cats and dogs in my life, but I’ve never had such a wonderful pet as this one. And it’s not only my opinion, but everyone who works with a lot of dogs and has spent time with him--the groomer, the vet, the vet’s receptionist, and the people working at two different kennels where I’ve taken him for daycare--all told me he’s one of their all-time favorite dogs, and that they are really impressed with his breeding and early upbringing, and how sweet and how smart he is. I just can’t speak too highly of Karry and her pups!
